How Shall We Pray?

All over America and the world people are being asked to pray. The following words were sent to us by "prayer warriors" from around the nation via email. Here is how they are praying and recommend that we do the same. Praying in agreement is a powerful tool in God's kingdom.

Pray that our president and his staff make the right decisions in response to the terrorist attack. Ask the Holy Spirit to send divine wisdom to him in this ultimate decision. Continually offer prayers and intercession on behalf of our president - releasing God's grace and favor upon his life and administration.

A key intercessor had a dream that there would be counter attacks because of embedded hate and anger after the President's speech. Pray that anger and hate be diffused.

Pray the terrorist headquarters and bases be exposed and defeated. Ask the Lord of Hosts to release His Angels of heaven to assist us in this endeavor.

Pray that the Holy Spirit will supernaturally reveal the parties responsible for the planning and execution of the terrorist attack.

Pray for the lines of communications to be disrupted so that the tactics of violence get confused and exposed.

Pray for the less important places - malls, restaurants, theaters, Wal-Marts, etc. Ask God to set up a hedge of protection anywhere you walk.

Pray against the accusing, divisive spirit which would attempt to create a holy war, "for we wrestle not with flesh and blood but with principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this age, and spritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."

Furthermore, pray that the evil behind the hatred and violence toward Israel and America be revealed and brought down.

Pray for the continued repentance and intercession on the part of our nation and its leaders, both in the civil government and in the church.

Continue to ask the Lord for renewal and revival here in America and the world.

Pray that the Holy Spirit would expose the hidden works of darkness and bring them into light.

Pray that the Holy Spirit would not allow us to enter into a national war prematurely that would not have His blessings although there must be a clear response on the part of our nation to deter future terrorism.

Pray that there will be confusion in the enemy's camp.

Pray that no weapon formed against God's people will prosper.

Pray for the Church of believers to rise to a new place of authority in this dark and dying world.

Pray that God's and glory and light will dispel darkness through His people.

Pray for God's perfect love to cast out fear! For God does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.

The intercessors are asking God to secure the borders of every city and state within our nation through intercession.

Praise: Many had been praying for the youth gathering in Boston where 30,000 young people gathered to pray for a great revival in our nation on Saturday Sept. 22nd. Praise God for Che Ahn, Dutch Sheets, Cindy Jacobs, Lou Engle and others who lead this event without mishap. Pray for the city of Boston. Newspapers in Boston had requested a 48-hour watch due to possible attacks in that city that day.

We thank you for your continued prayers for the families of Christian Cottage Schools. We have been witnessing increased troubles with strife within families. Please pray for God's love and peace to reign.

We also thank you for your continued prayers over Christian Cottage Schools that we might prosper and be in health as our souls prosper.

We pray for you and your family to be kept in God's grace and care during these days.
